After 12 consecutive victories in Serie A, Inter Milan was held at home by Naples, for the 29th day of the championship. The Nerazzurri, who have been alone in the Italian elite for many weeks, were joined at the end of the match with a goal from Juan Jesus (81st). Matteo Darmian opened the scoring in the first period for Inter (43rd).

The match was marked by an incident between Jesus, the scorer, and Acerbi, the Milan defender. The Brazilian accuses the Italian of having uttered racist insults to him, in particular the word “negro”. He expressed his concern to the referee and an investigation will soon be opened to shed light on this event.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are 14 points ahead of second-placed AC Milan. Naples is 7th, with two points less than Atalanta, 6th and first virtual qualifier for a European competition.
