Mohamed Henni claims that Kylian Mbappé filed a “legal complaint” for giving the name of the Paris Saint-Germain star to one of his kebabs.
According to RMC Sport, Mohamed Henni, owner of a kebab and supporter of the Marseille team, rival of PSG, received a letter from Kylian Mbappé’s lawyer, Delphine Verheyden, and was given a week to rename the takeaway to avoid any legal issues. Today, the influencer expressed his fury at the turn of events.
The influencer shared the letter on social media, which reads: “Mr Henni uses the name Kylian Mbappé for commercial and promotional purposes, without having obtained prior explicit consent. »
In response, a “stunned” Henni wrote: “A player at this level has time to think about me. He (Mbappé) uses his time and money to attack me. I don’t hurt anyone, I’m a comedian. Aren’t you embarrassed? Launch a legal complaint over absolutely nothing? »
“Payet has values”
While the report adds that on the menu, the item is described as “ Bakery bread, as round as Mbappé’s head”, Henni points out that the French World Cup winner is not the only player mocked in his restaurant. There is a savory pancake, “As busy as (Dimitri) Payet“, dedicated to the former Marseille and West Ham player, and Henni claims the veteran midfielder has not complained about it. He added : “He (Payet) is a player who has values, Mbappé has completely lost them”.
It remains to be seen what happens over the next week as to whether or not Henni will change the name of the Mbappé kebab. Despite this strange dispute, the 25-year-old striker will concentrate fully on his duties at PSG, who are due to return to competition on Wednesday in the quarter-final of the Coupe de France against Nice.
