Luis Enrique, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, gave his opinion on the French championship.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique surprised everyone this Tuesday at a press conference. the Spaniard, accustomed to the games of La Liga and Serie A, admitted that Ligue 1 was a much more difficult championship than he imagined.

“Before arriving here, I thought that Ligue 1 was an easy championship, but it’s quite the opposite,” he conceded.

Luis Enrique under the spell of the League of Talents

“There is a very high individual level among the players, and the coaches offer interesting things. It’s a league with a high level of competitiveness,” judged Luis Enrique.

A mea culpa which sounds like a real revelation for the former Spain coach. He, who, upon his arrival last summer undoubtedly harbored some doubts about the attractiveness of the French championship.

A positive speech which contrasts with the criticisms made by certain observers of Ligue 1. Luis Enrique therefore seems to have been won over by the toughness and intensity of the League of Talents.
