Monaco won in Strasbourg this Sunday as part of the 25th day of L1. Great operation also for Metz, winner of Clermont.

ASM is on the rise. With seven points collected out of nine over the last three days, including three today in Strasbourg, the Principality club was able to consolidate its place on the elite podium, returning on the heels of a Brest defeated in Lens on Saturday evening (1-0).

Thanks to a goal from young Ben Seghir in the second half (0-1, 73e), the Monegasques were able to win by the smallest of margins and thus plunge back into doubt a Racing which is barely one step ahead of the red zone.

Metz comes back to life

A relegation zone from which FC Metz is trying to extricate itself, with this Sunday a second consecutive victory assured in front of Clermont, thanks to a penalty from Mikautadze (1-0, 33e) – the Auvergnats, flanked by the red lantern, now finding themselves eight units from the waterline.

On the other hand, Le Havre is breathing after its success over Toulouse, with an achievement from Operi on the hour mark (1-0, 60e). Now 12ethe HAC returns to two points behind the TFC, with a two-length margin compared to the first relegated Lorient.
