Kylian Mbappé stood out greatly on Tuesday evening during the Champions League match between PSG and Real Sociedad. In spirit and in no way disturbed by what has happened behind the scenes in recent days, the Bondynois scored both goals for his team.

Luis Enrique, the Parisian coach, was complimented for Mbappé’s good performance because he was able to put him back in the position where he performs best. He also made sure to motivate the player by recently peppering him with changes during the match.

“Mbappé on the left, it’s not a revolution”

But is the Spanish coach really to be applauded for what his star player did? A certain Jean-Michel Larqué doesn’t think so. The former French international who commented on this match for RMC Sport declared this Wednesday: “They played a very good match overall. But if you don’t have Mbappé, you don’t win. In four or five actions he single-handedly turned the match around. Yesterday he was put on the left. But this is not a scoop or a revolution. If to play him in his position, you have to be a graduate of the University of Barcelona…”

Larqué still recognized that Luis Enrique was still the author of some interesting adjustments. And that he has his credit in the victory obtained against the Basques.
