Spanish international Lucas Vazquez has given his opinion on a possible extension of Toni Kroos at Real Madrid.
Toni Kroos’ future at Real Madrid is still uncertain. The 34-year-old midfielder has not yet announced his decision to extend his contract with the Madrid club.
When asked about the issue, his teammate Lucas Vazquez expressed his wish to see Toni Kroos continue at Real Madrid.
Vazquez doesn’t see Kroos stopping
“Kroos is unpredictable, but I wouldn’t understand if he didn’t continue, after the great season he’s had. His level is very good and he can help for years to come,” judged Vazquez on the sidelines of the victory against Sevilla (1-0), Sunday in La Liga.
The leaders of Casa Blanca are impatient to know the decision of the 2014 world champion. A new one-year extension would be considered. The player wants to take the time to think before making his choice.
It is nevertheless possible that Kroos decides to hang up his boots at the end of the season.
