Mbappé’s transfer to Real Madrid has become a real saga, with the player first agreeing to join the reigning European champion in 2022 before turning around and extending his stay in Paris, thereby becoming the highest paid player in the world.
Mbappé, out of contract at the end of the current campaign, was left out of PSG’s pre-season tour of Asia when he refused to extend, before making his return.
