Find the results of this Sunday afternoon, counting for the 20th day of Ligue 1.

Before an electric Olympico which will feature two fallen big names, this 20th day of Ligue 1 offered a very pleasant spectacle this Sunday. Several unexpected scenarios occurred across the four corners of France. It started in the Principality, where the Le Havre promotion, as valiant as ever, kept Monaco in check (1-1). And it was not necessarily necessary to bet on the small odds since other surprising results marked this winter day, starting with Lorient’s victory in Metz (2-1).

Lorient is revolting!

Stuck at the bottom of the rankings, the Breton club found the resources to stop its negative series and achieve an oh-so-valuable success on the ground of promoted Lorraine. Bamba opened the scoring for the Merlus (0-1, 22nd), before Lamkel Zé’s quick equalizer (1-1, 22nd), but Régis Le Bris’ team held on to force the decision in the second period thanks to a goal from Katseris (1-2, 58th).

Toulouse surprises Reims

Another poorly ranked team took a breath of fresh air: Toulouse. Téfécé won to everyone’s surprise on the Reims pitch (3-2). A result almost acquired at half-time since Toulouse led 3-0 after an almost perfect first act. Mawissa Elebi (0-1, 11th), Babicka (0-2, 31st) and Dallinga – from the penalty spot (0-3, 45th) – found the net. The Reims reaction, led by Teuma (1-3, 49th) and Akieme (2-3, 90th+1) was not enough. Seventh, Reims is losing ground. Toulouse makes a small jump to twelfth place.

Lille unfolds

Finally, the big operation of the day is to the credit of Lille, which is placed at the foot of the podium after an impressive victory against Clermont (4-0). Very realistic, Paulo Fonseca’s men quickly drew their victory with a double from David (10th, 38th) and goals from André (24th) and Zhegrova (40th).
