This Saturday, at the opening of the 23rd day of the Premier League, Tottenham traveled to Everton. After their victory against Brentford last week, Spurs wanted to continue, but they came up against the Toffees (2-2) in the last seconds of the match.

Former Everton player Richarlison scored twice (3rd, 41st), but Calwert-Levin (30th) and Jarrad Branthwaite (90th+4) allowed their team to grab a point, valuable in the fight for the maintenance. This draw does not help matters for Tottenham, clinging to fourth place while waiting for the other matches of the day, eight points behind the leader, Liverpool. For its part, Everton is still relegated, 18th, but comes within one point of Luton, 17th.
