A victory and a scandal for Barça

FC Barcelona won on the Alaves pitch this Saturday but Vitor Roque was excluded from the match.

Shaken by poor results in recent weeks and the announcement of Xavi’s departure at the end of the season, the FC Barcelona traveled to Alaves this Saturday with the ambition of retaining third place and staying as close as possible to Girona and Real Madrid.

Lewandowski finds his way to the goal

Everything started well for the Blaugranas, who opened the scoring with Robert Lewandowski, author of his first league goal in six matches, in the 22nd minute. Passer on the first goal, Ilkay Gundogan then went with his achievement and allowed his team to take a two-goal lead, but Alaves reduced the score in the process.

Then comes the crazy fifteen minutes of Vitro Roque. Entering the game in the 59th minute, the young Brazilian scored his second goal in two matches in the 63rd minute, a lovely tale of fire that would turn into a nightmare. Booked in the 67th minute, Roque received a second warning five minutes later… when he should have been the victim of a foul by Rafa Marin. Despite this incomprehension, Barça is giving itself some breathing room and will undoubtedly hope for a draw between Real Madrid and Atlético on Sunday.
