The ranking of European top scorers

Fourteenth assessment of the season for the ranking of European top scorers. We find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. Leader for several weeks, Harry Kane remains in the lead with 22 goals in 17 matches. The English striker from Bayern Munich, however, had a difficult Sunday marked by a 1-0 defeat against Werder Bremen.

Second, Kylian Mbappé follows even if he did not play in the championship, but in the Cup with a double against Orléans (4-1). Still posting 19 goals in 17 Ligue 1 matches with Paris Saint-Germain, he remains well placed and remains in ambush. The podium is completed by Mexican striker Santiago Giménez who has 19 goals in 17 matches. Despite his team’s 2-1 victory against Vitesse Arnhem, he failed to shake the opposing net and lost a position.

Little movement this week

At the foot of the podium is Vangelis Pavlidis with similar statistics. The Greek striker was effective with a new achievement against Zwolle (2-2). Fifth, Lautaro Martinez has not played in Serie A. The Argentinian, who has scored 18 goals in 18 matches, still remains well placed. Things are also not changing for Serhou Guirassy and his 17 goals in 14 matches. The Guinean striker is currently at the African Cup of Nations with his selection.

He is followed by Edin Dzeko who remained silent yesterday during Fenerbahçe’s draw (1-1) against Samsunspor. The Bosnian now has 16 goals in 20 matches. Statistics similar to eighth in this ranking Kevin Denkey. The Togolese scored a new goal against Genk (1-1) and moved up the rankings. Ninth and silent in PSV Eindhoven’s 1-1 draw against Utrecht, Luuk de Jong follows in the standings with 15 goals in 18 matches. Finally, Simon Banza comes in tenth place with 14 goals in 15 matches for Braga. He is currently at CAN with the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Also with fourteen goals, we find Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Artem Dovbyk (Girona), Mateo Cassierra (Zenit) and Erling Haaland (Manchester City). Mohamed Amoura (Union Saint-Gilloise), Thiago (Club Bruges), Anders Dreyer (Anderlecht), Mame Baba Thiam (Kayserispor and Pendikspor), Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting CP), Borja Mayoral (Getafe) and Lawrence Shankland (Hearts) count thirteen goals and narrowly ahead of Heung-min Son (Tottenham), Alvaro Morata (Atlético de Madrid), Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth), Loïs Openda (RB Leipzig), , Mohamed Amoura (Union Saint-Gilloise) and Mauro Icardi (Galatasaray) and their 12 achievements.
