Still as decisive at the age of 38, Cristiano Ronaldo has lost none of his outspokenness. The Portuguese striker, who stacks goals like pearls with his club Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, did not hesitate to declare that the Saudi championship was in his eyes superior to Ligue 1.
“ The Saudi League is not worse than Ligue 1. The Saudi Pro League is more competitive than Ligue 1, I can say that after a year there” launched CR7. “We are already better than the French Championship now. (…) They can say what they want, I know what I’m saying. It’s my opinion “.
