England international Ivan Toney made his comeback after an eight-month suspension and scored for Brentford on Saturday against Nottingham.

Suspended eight months by the FA for his involvement in sports betting, Ivan Toney returned to competition with Brentford and scored when Nottingham Forest came to West London on Saturday. The English international, 27, equalized with a free kick (19th) after Danilo opened the scoring from afar (3rd).

The match got excited in the second half: the Bees regained the advantage through Ben Mee (59th), Chris Wood equalized for the visitors (68th) and, finally, Neal Maupay gave his team the victory with a nice shot from the left (68th). The French striker helped himself with his hand before hitting but the video referee decided not to sanction him.

Brentford moved up to 14th position in the Premier League table, with two points more than Nottingham. Note that former Marseillais Nuno Tavares started with Forest.
