Clearly, the 2023-2024 season is clearly not the calmest for Anthony Martial. Far from having the indisputable starting role at Manchester United in the first part of the season (7 starts in 19 TCC matches, 2 goals, 2 assists), the French international striker (30 caps, 2 goals) has long been concerned by a possible departure, with even Olympique de Marseille mentioned in this file. However, as we exclusively announced to you, there is no contact between the 28-year-old and the seventh in Ligue 1. The Daily Mail even spoke of Martial being sidelined by his trainer, Erik ten Hag, due to his poor form as well as his lack of work according to the demands of the Dutch technician.

At the microphone of Sky Sportshis agent, Philippe Lamboley, wanted to clarify things about his situation, announcing that the latter would have to go on the billiards table. “What is being said about him is completely false. He was not excluded from the group and has no problems with the coach (Erik ten Hag. Anthony has been in Manchester for nine seasons and if he was not a great professional he would not have stayed so long at the club. He will simply undergo a small adductor operation, which he should have done for some time and which did not allow him to be 100%, so he will do it now. Anthony will not leave and will stay until ‘at the end of his contract in June.’ As a reminder, Anthony Martial’s contract, expiring next June, can be extended for an additional year but the Red Devils do not wish to activate this option. The series is therefore closed… at least, until this summer.
