After a very successful interim, Pierre Sage was confirmed as head of Olympique Lyonnais until the end of the season.

Pierre Sage and Olympique Lyonnais are here to stay. Having been appointed as an interim after the ousting of Fabio Grosso, the former head of the Academy was confirmed at the head of the Rhone club until June 30.

“The 44-year-old technician played an important role in the recent sporting recovery of OL, emerging from the relegation zone thanks to three consecutive victories obtained at the end of 2023 and recently qualified for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France”, indicates John Textor’s club in a press release.

OL took the opportunity to confirm the small adjustments made to Pierre Sage’s staff, who will always be accompanied by Jérémie Bréchet and Rémy Vercoutre. Jamal Alioui, former professional player trained at OL, and Damien Della Santa, individual development specialist, arrived this winter alongside the new coach.
