A change of equipment supplier is being prepared in the FC Barcelona offices and, to replace Nike, a deal with Puma is being finalized!
Nike is obviously one of the historic partners of FC Barcelona, as an equipment supplier since 1998. But every love story has an end. Catalan leaders are in conflict with the American company and have already turned to Puma.
This is not a simple threat: while Barça is under contract with Nike until 2028, an agreement would be close to being reached with Puma for a collaboration which could begin next season, as the journalist indicates Adrian Sanchez.
The FCB would pocket no less than 105 million euros per season by being supplied by the comma brand. His new deal with Puma could bring him the same amount. The German company has already “stolen” Manchester City from Nike by signing, in 2019, a 10-year contract worth 750 million.
