The National Management Control Department (DNCG) imposed a sanction on the Girondins de Bordeaux.
In great difficulty on a sporting level this season, the Girondins de Bordeaux must also face obstacles behind the scenes. While the Aquitaine club wanted to strengthen itself this winter to turn things around after an extremely disappointing first leg, this mission could prove much more delicate than expected.
New obstacle for Bordeaux
The National Directorate of Management Control (DNCG) has in fact imposed “ supervision of the payroll and transfer allowances » at the Girondins de Bordeaux club. A sanction which applies until the end of this 2023-24 season.
Direct consequence: Bordeaux will have to be cunning to try to improve a squad far from meeting expectations for the moment, with the possibility of banking on young people from the training center. The Girondins are in a disappointing 13th place in the Ligue 2 standings.
