At 27 years old, the essential left side of the French women’s team faces a big dilemma: at the end of her contract at PSG, Sakina Karchaoui is being courted by Barça.
Arriving at PSG women’s in July 2021, after just one season at OL, Sakina Karchaoui is at the end of her contract next June with the Rouge et Bleu and her managers hope to have her sign a new contract. But, at 27 years old, the left side of Les Bleues, holder since his debut in 2016 (62 caps), can offer himself a great sunny adventure.
Karchaoui is being courted by FC Barcelona, the best team in Europe in recent years (winner of the Women’s Champions League in 2021 and 2023 and finalist against OL in 2022). An offer would have been made by Barça Femeni to the player trained in Montpellier, as indicated Soccerdonna.
Exclusive: According to our sources, FC Barcelona have targeted Sakina Karchaoui, available for a free transfer this summer. Initial contact and an offer from Barça have been made. Paris also keen on extending the right-back’s contract.

Few French internationals leave D1 Arkéma for the Women’s Liga, with the exception of Sandie Toletti, who joined Levante in 2020 and now plays for Real Madrid, and her teammate Naomie Feller (with the Blancas for a year and a half) or the central Aïssatou Tounkara (four years at Atlético).
