Manchester City is not going through its best moment. After a brilliant 2022/2023 season, marked by new domination on the national scene and this long-awaited coronation in the Champions League, Pep Guardiola’s men are having a little more difficulty. For example, they are fourth in the Premier League, although it is true that they are only five points behind leader Liverpool, with one game less. Nothing to sound the alarm about yet, but it’s an almost unprecedented situation for Mancunians.

Still according to the British publication, Bayern are ready to part with their captain for a check for 60 million euros; an amount that is a priori affordable for the Mancunian team. It must be said that in recent months there has been talk of tense relations between the midfielder and his coach Thomas Tuchel. He is also often in the sights of the German press, which no longer hesitates to criticize him when it considers that he is not up to standard, which happens a little more often than usual lately. Manchester City, however, hopes to reduce this amount by €60 million by playing for time and hoping that this summer, the player has not extended and that Bayern therefore finds itself with its back against the wall.
