Newcastle won against their regional rival, Sunderland (0-3), in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

In difficulty in the Premier League with a series of five defeats in six matches, eliminated in the League Cup and the Champions League, Newcastle was playing big this Saturday for its entry into the FA Cup, with a trip to the field of its regional rival, Sunderland.

The Magpies did not tremble too much to defeat the Black Cats, with an own goal from Ballard (35th) in the first period, and a double from Alexander Isak (46th, 90th sp) in the second half to push the nail.

Enough to regain a little confidence for Eddie Howe’s team before facing Manchester City and Aston Villa in the league during the first two days.
