Chelsea recall Andrey Santos from loan spell at Nottingham Forest

Arriving at Chelsea last winter for 12.5 million euros, Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos was first sent on loan to Vasco da Gama, his training club, for the few months preceding the European off-season before to temporarily return to Nottingham Forest. Yes, but the Auriverde international (1 selection) was only used twice for the Reds between the Premier League and the League Cup. A situation which does not really help the London team for the progression of its 18-year-old jewel, who was recalled from his loan to Forest.

“The Brazil international joined the Reds over the summer and made his debut under manager Steve Cooper a few days later in a Carabao Cup defeat to Burnley. He then made his Premier League debut at the end of October, coming on from the substitutes’ bench against Liverpool at Anfield. Santos was not used by new Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo and returns to Stamford Bridge after making two appearances during his spell at the City Ground.we can read in the press release from the Blues, currently 10th in the Premier League.
