Getafe hosted the Rayo club this Tuesday evening on the lawn of the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez stadium, during the 19th day of La Liga. While the Azulones were quickly reduced to ten after the exclusion of Juanmi Latasa (40th), the Franjirrojos opened the scoring thanks to Sergio Camello (45th+1). The latter scored twice after returning from the locker room (47th). In the second half, Mason Greenwood also received a red card (50th), leaving Getafe nine against eleven.

At the end of the match, it was Damian Suarez who also received a red card (70th). Getafe therefore finished the match at eight after its three exclusions. In the ranking, the Azulones remain in 8th position, while Rayo climbs to 11th place. Next weekend, Getafe will play Espanyol in the Cup, while the Franjirrojos will face Huesca.
