According to The Parisian, Jurgen Klopp’s team is the “most credible and most dangerous candidate” for PSG, while Kylian Mbappé is coming to the end of his contract this summer. The journalist of The Team Loic Tanzi also declared: “ Liverpool wanted him when they played Monaco,” he thus confided to talkSPORT.
“Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp went to see him and they negotiated while they were on the plane. The relationship between him, Liverpool and Klopp is there. I think they have a chance.” If Liverpool are seen as a threat, with Klopp reportedly following the player for nine years, they will face stiff competition from Real Madrid, with both teams looking to secure one of the most high-profile free transfers in football history . The Whites are reportedly ready to offer the Frenchman 130 million euros per season to try to lure him to Spain.
For now, Mbappé has given PSG no indication of his future, with the player able to either stay in the French capital or leave for nothing at the end of his contract.
