Whether in France or England, many players see their homes being burglarized. Although the violence is not the same each time, everyone says they are shocked after such events. And this week, it was Jack Grealish who paid the price. The Manchester City winger recently learned, just after the final whistle of the match against Everton (1-3), that his mansion, estimated at 5.6 million pounds sterling (€6.44 million), had been looted by a gang of burglars. A terrible scene since the family of the former Aston Villa man was present. At a press conference before hosting Sheffield, Pep Guardiola returned to this burglary and warned his players.

“I think they have security, but unfortunately it happens”he said. “Today it happens many times, not only in the UK, I know that in Catalonia, and I know more because I live there with my family, a lot of things happen. Nowadays, they definitely have to be careful. Don’t put much on social media, and the less they (criminals) know about what they’re doing, the better. But people are waiting now, wherever you are, no matter what you’re doing, and unfortunately it happens. What happened with João (Cancelo) was so scary because the family had been attacked… In the end, it’s difficult. Jewelry, money or whatever, it’s hard, but at the end of the day, the presence of family is difficult to manage. It was a delicate moment for Jack (Grealish), Joao before. We have to be careful.”
