Having left Paris Saint-Germain last January to continue his career in Portugal, Eddy Doué could already change championships. The Franco-Ivorian midfielder, who has been playing for six months at Estrela Amadora, is the subject of insistent requests in Türkiye in the final hours of the transfer window. Istanbul Başakşehir and Trabzonspor therefore sent offers to the Portuguese club to try to secure the player’s services before the closure of the Turkish market. The latest proposal made for Doué would be estimated at 6 million euros, but no agreement has yet been reached between the different parties.

Discussions should accelerate in the coming hours to allow the player to possibly join the Süper Lig. If negotiations remain open between the clubs, no common ground has also been found regarding Doué’s contractual conditions. PSG is necessarily following the matter carefully since the Parisian club retains 50% of the rights to any capital gain or transfer compensation. Arriving at Estrela Amadora after his departure from Paris, Eddy Doué could thus experience a new turning point in his career only a few months after leaving the capital club. If he were to stay in Portugal, there is no doubt that PSG will take another look at the situation of its former nugget who will still be coveted in the winter transfer window.
