While he is believed to have too much influence at Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé wanted to make things clear.
Kylian Mbappé answered questions from France 3, for an interview broadcast Thursday evening on the show Tout Le Sport. And the captain of the France team made some interesting comments, particularly about his role at Paris Saint-Germain, which is the subject of many fantasies.
“We think that it’s me who does everything, that it’s me who makes the team, what needs to be done, who should do what…”he declared, recalling that he really was. “I love being invested and committed but the basis of everything is that I am a football player. You should never misunderstand who I am. I am a citizen, I have positions. I have values that I defend. I have rights that I want to assert. I accept that and I claim it. But I don’t take myself for more than I am.”he adds, with particular reference to his associative commitments.
Mbappé also talks about his commitments on a personal level, and takes responsibility for what he says and what he does. “You don’t have to pay attention to what people think, otherwise you won’t sleep at night.”he concluded.
