Ibrahimovic already criticized in Milan: “He doesn’t take his role seriously”

Barely inducted into his new role in Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is already entitled to acidic barbs emanating from the outside.

Carlo Pellegatti, famous TV consultant in Italy and big AC Milan fan, is not satisfied with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s investment in his new role as advisor to the Rossonerri.

“Milan need Ibrahimovic now”

Since his appointment last month, the Swede has yet to be seen at the club and was instead photographed on a beach in Miami this week. A paradox which therefore made Pellegatti come off his hinges.

He said on his YouTube channel: “You know how happy I was with his return as leader, but I wouldn’t have wanted to see that image of his magnificent bicycle kick on the beach in Miami. I tell you frankly: I would have wanted him here.”

Pellegatti continues: “It’s a very complicated time for Milan, I don’t know if there were leaders yesterday and today at Milanello. Today, the players, (Stefano) Pioli, the technical and medical staff, need a presence, if it is that of Ibrahimovic, it is even better. If there were no leaders at Milanello, it strikes me, the players are used to it, but a strong presence is necessary.”

“I would have hoped for Ibrahimovic, but maybe he had already planned his vacation before becoming an advisor. But there are emergencies: there are still 6 very long months, Milan must play an Italian Cup, they must go to Rennes and pass the round, they must consolidate third place, while waiting to understand what is happening in front and what is happening behind“, concluded the seasoned journalist.
