Carlo Ancelotti’s future seems more linked to Real Madrid than to the Brazilian national team. Despite the efforts of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) to recruit him next June (i.e. at the end of his mandate in Spain) and although he is flattered by the request, the transalpine technician has always proclaimed this season that he was waiting for a sign from the Merengue club to make a final decision. “Madrid is my priority and if the club offers me to renew, I will continue here next season”he declared at a press conference in early November.
A month and a half later, Carlo Ancelotti has not changed his mind according to the information reported by A.S., this Thursday. He is even very close to renewing his lease with the club in the Spanish capital to the extent that he benefits from the unconditional support of his players but also of his managers, delighted with the work accomplished. It must be said that his team’s results work in his favor. In addition to the fact that Real Madrid currently occupies the upper echelons of the La Liga standings, tied on points with the revelation of the season Girona, the Madrid team came out of the group stage of the Champions League without incident, thus strengthening its status of contender for final victory. Expected to be renewed until 2025, Carlo Ancelotti should be decided on his fate in January 2024, i.e. at the end of the Spanish Super Cup scheduled in Saudi Arabia according to the Iberian media.
