Luis Campos has learned his lessons. Last year, the Portuguese was heavily criticized for his management of the two Paris Saint-Germain transfer windows. Indeed, Christophe Galtier and the capital club did not appreciate that the football advisor did not complete the arrival of a central defender in summer as in winter. Despite advanced negotiations with Inter, Milan Skriniar, who was the priority, did not come. He eventually joined the French capital once his contract at Milan ended. Freed from his obligations at Celta de Vigo, Campos was able to concentrate solely on Parisian recruitment.

And this time, he anticipated. The 2024 winter transfer window has not yet officially opened its doors but Paris has already completed two important files. Indeed, Gabriel Moscardo (18 years old, Corinthians) and Lucas Beraldo (20 years old, São Paulo) will sign for PSG. The Brazilian press also announces that they will take the plane today or tomorrow to reach the French capital and undergo the traditional medical examination before signing their contract. Reinforcements which will therefore do Luis Enrique good, whether in the middle or in defense. But it may not be over.

A versatile full-back is likely to arrive

Monday, The Parisian explained that unless there is a good opportunity, PSG will not recruit more in January. But the situation has changed. This Thursday, the French media reveals that the Parisian management is seriously considering getting their hands on a left back. Indeed, the long-term absence of Nuno Mendes, who is working hard to return, poses a problem. The French champions do not want to take any risks with him. While his return is estimated at the beginning of March, PSG is considering recruiting a player in his position according to (Le Parisien)(https://www.leparisien.fr/.

Both the staff and the management do not want to exhaust Lucas Hernandez, who has a string of meetings and who will be invaluable during key moments of the season. Nordi Mukiele and Carlos Soler replaced him on rare occasions. Layvin Kurzawa is invited to leave permanently this winter. With the CAN arriving and the crucial meetings of PSG, the thinking heads of Ile-de-France are thinking of recruiting a left side, versatile and capable of helping out on the right as well. No names have leaked yet, but we imagine that Luis Campos already has his own idea on the subject.
