Certainly, Pedro is struggling to relaunch a career that had started brilliantly. After a very promising first season at FC Barcelona and a Euro 2021 which revealed him to the eyes of the world, the midfielder was upset by several long injuries which prevented him from having a full season or almost since.
Another long absence?
Returning after two months of absence at the start of the season, the Spanish international played nine matches before relapsing again with a muscle injury. But if we are to believe the information from Mundo Deportivo this Tuesday, the Catalan club would not be really optimistic about its recovery and does not want to take any risks. The 21-year-old is therefore not expected to return until the end of January and will likely miss the Spanish Super Cup. By this date, he will have already accumulated more than three months of injury over the 2023-2024 financial year.
