If Real Madrid won at the last minute against Alaves (0-1), the Madrid infirmary welcomed a new patient.

Real Madrid ended the season on a high note. Traveling to the Alavès pitch, the Madrid club won at the wire (0-1) thanks to a goal from Lucas Vazquez scored in added time. Enough to allow the Merengue club to regain the lead in La Liga ahead of Girona, forced into a draw by Betis Sevilla (1-1) and ahead on goal difference.

Real Madrid’s evening was nevertheless tarnished by the injury-related exit of Rodrygo, who was injured in the leg and was limping low when he was replaced in the final moments of the match.
