Paris Saint-Germain welcomes FC Metz for its last match at the Parc des Princes in 2023, this Wednesday (9 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the capital club.
It is with a still well-remodeled starting eleven that Paris Saint-Germain will face FC Metz, this Wednesday, for its last of the year 2023 in its lair of the Parc des Princes. Luis Enrique must deal with a plethora of absentees for this match. No less than 6 players will be missing for this meeting: Fabian Ruiz, Nuno Mendes, Presnel Kimpembe and Keylor Navas – absent for a long time – but also Arnau Tenas and especially Ousmane Dembélé, preserved after a small scare.
Rotation fan, Luis Enrique will therefore change his starting lineup, as he is accustomed to doing. Starting in Lille on Sunday, Dembélé could be replaced numerically by Randal Kolo Muani, in an attack which would resemble the offensive line which presented itself against Borussia Dortmund a week earlier (1-1), with Bradley Barcola and the irremovable Kylian Mbappé.
In the midfield and behind, the choices look more classic, even if PSG supporters are not immune to a new surprise. Manuel Ugarte is expected to continue alongside Warren Zaire-Emery and Vitinha, while the Marquinhos-Skriniar lead seems to be holding up, the Slovak making his return to the eleven. Hakimi and Lucas Hernandez are also expected to start. Gianluigi Donnarumma will hold his place in goal.
The expected lineup for PSG : Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Skriniar, Hernandez – Zaire-Emery, Ugarte, Vitinha – Barcola, Kolo Muani, Mbappé.
