Girona does not give up its throne

Girona regained control of La Liga this Monday evening by dominating Alaves with a score of 3-0.

Temporarily overtaken by Real Madrid on Sunday evening, after the Merengues’ victory against Villarreal (4-1), Girona regained the lead in La Liga.

At the end of the 17e lifted, the Catalans made short work of Alaves (3-0), carried by a double from Dovbyk (23e59e on penalty) and a goal from Portu (42e).

Girona is therefore two steps ahead of Real – nine ahead of Barça who complete the podium with one point more than Atlético de Madrid who are a match behind.
