A former French international advised Didier Deschamps to select Mathys Tel from his list of those called up for the Euro.

Didier Deschamps, the boss of the France team, recently affirmed that he already has in mind almost all the players he would like to take to the Euro. Bayern’s French prodigy Mathys Tel is unlikely to feature there. However, there are those who would like to see the former Rennes player during this continental tournament in Germany.

“Mathys Tel, he’s a future crack”

Samir Nasri, former French international, is one of Tel’s admirers. And according to him, it would be good to give this great hope a chance. “ I’ll take it to see it. Have you seen the bloated squad at Bayern and they manage to score? We have not found a successor to Giroud and I would like to see him among the great players that this French team has, what he is capable of doing.”

“I like his maturity, continued Nasri about the French international hopeful. This form of arrogance he has. He is very confident. And he has everything in store and knows what he needs to continue to progress. He’s a future crack.”

And the main interested party? Does he see himself beating the odds and taking the next Euro? “There are the Olympics soon, if I manage to be there that would already be magnificent. Representing my country would be magnificent. The Euro in Germany? In the back of my mind, I have the France A team but that will depend on my performances at club and in the U20 selection.”
