Real Madrid finished the Champions League group stage with a 100% record, winning all six of their matches against Napoli, Braga and Union Berlin.

This perfect record guarantees the merengue first place, but also a great financial reward.

42 million winnings

Thanks to these results, Real Madrid will earn 42 million euros in the Champions League and are already halfway to the maximum bonus of 85 million euros linked to success in the competition. According to RelevoCarlo Ancelotti’s team earns 2.8 million euros per victory, or 16.8 million euros in total, 15.6 million euros for qualification alone and 9.6 million euros for the knockout phase.

Bayern Munich earned €40.1 million, while Manchester City can match it if they beat Red Star Belgrade. FC Barcelona has 36.1 million euros, but can reach 38.9 million euros in the event of a victory over Royal Antwerp.
