After its first in 2016 and its second participation in 2021, Slovakia will be part of the big Euro 2024 party next year in Germany. The Slovaks set the Bratislava crowd on fire, notably with a decisive double from Lukas Haraslin in the second half, to beat Iceland (4-2), and obtain 2nd place in the Portugal group. Hungary had obtained the precious sesame at the start of the evening.

No less than 13 teams no longer play anything (neither qualification nor participation in one of the three play-offs): Cyprus in group E, Ireland and Gibraltar in B, North Macedonia and Malta in C , Latvia in D, Sweden in F, Lithuania in G, Northern Ireland and San Marino in H, Belarus and Andorra in I, Liechtenstein in J. Waiting for Norway of Erling Haaland, who is almost eliminated without being able to participate in the play-offs…
We already know two posters for the play-offs which will be played next March (three months after the draw on December 2): Bosnia-Finland in the Final Four of Path B and Georgia-Luxembourg in the Final Four of Path C.
