Botafogo, it’s appalling

The Brazilian club Botafogo, owned by John Textor, the owner of OL, stands out for the instability of its coaching bench.

We shouldn’t be far from a record. Botafogo has just appointed a fifth coach this season.

Tiago Nunes arrives on the bench of the Rio de Janeiro club after Luis Castro, Claudio Caçapa, Bruno Lage and Lucio Flavio appointed on… October 5.

Tiago Nunes, a 43-year-old Brazilian, will lead a team ranked second in Serie A but weakened by a series of six Championship matches without a win, including four defeats.

This instability will not improve the image of its owner John Textor either. Also at the head of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) and Molenbeek (Belgium), the American often stands out with his management style.
