Even if he did not show his embarrassment on the pitch, at San Siro, the PSG goalkeeper was considerably marked by the welcome his former supporters gave him.

Last Tuesday, Gianluigi Donnarumma received a huge bronca on the occasion of his return to San Siro, for the Champions League group match between AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. The Ultras Rossoneri had made bank notes with his image, in order to criticize him for leaving free of any contract in the summer of 2021.

The Italian goalkeeper was booed every time he took the ball. “It wasn’t easy in October 2021 and it hasn’t been easy now. On the pitch you try not to get distracted by anything, you try to give the best of yourself. After the match, you feel the effects more, you release certain emotions, but on the pitch, we try not to be affected”he confided during the sidelines of the “Hall of fame del calcio italiano”, a ceremony aimed at highlighting the heritage of Italian football, Monday in Florence.

Despite this enormous pressure, Gianluigi Donnarumma produced a good performance against his training club. Last Saturday, he was even more impressive against Reims, during the twelfth day of Ligue 1, by multiplying the saves.
