The time for recovery has come for PSG. After two weeks of international break, the capital club has a meeting with Strasbourg, Saturday afternoon at the Parc des Princes (5 p.m.), on the occasion of the 9e day of Ligue 1. A match which could allow Luis Enrique’s players, third two lengths behind the Monegasque leader, to temporarily take the lead in the championship.

The Spanish technician will be without several important players for this meeting including Marco Asensio and, more annoyingly, Warren Zaire-Emery, who missed training on Friday. Affected in the left ankle with the France Espoirs team, the young midfielder (17 years old) will be spared, particularly in view of the clash against AC Milan in the Champions League next Wednesday.

A Mbappé found!

“Strasbourg will be very motivated, with young players who want to prove. It won’t be an easy match after a break period.”commented at a press conference the coach of the Rouge et Bleu, who will on the other hand be able to count on a Kylian Mbappé found against the Alsatians eleventh in the standings (10 points), who remain on two defeats against Lens and Nantes.

While he had gone four consecutive matches without a goal or assist in all competitions with Paris Saint-Germain, before joining the Blues, “Kyky” enjoyed his time in the selection with a double in Amsterdam against the Netherlands ( 1-2), then a goal and an assist in Lille ahead of Scotland (4-1). The machine therefore no longer seems to be stuck, good news for PSG.
