The French team dominated the Netherlands in Amsterdam this Friday with a double from Mbappé (1-2). The Blues are thus qualified for Euro 2024!

Six matches, six victories, this is a playoff campaign well run by Didier Deschamps’ men! Two days before the end of these qualifications for Euro 2024, the France team is already qualified for the final phase which next year will be played in Germany. This is thanks to a great victory in the Netherlands, this Friday evening, on the lawn of the Amsterdam Arena (1-2).

Dominant from the start of the match, the Blues made the difference with a double from Kylian Mbappé, who had remained silent during his four previous outings with PSG. It was by cutting a good cross from Jonathan Clauss that the French captain opened the scoring (0-1, 7e). And the same miracle of having doubled the bet with a sumptuous curling shot at the entrance to the area (0-2, 53e) – sa 42e made in blue.

The Netherlands overwhelmed

More relaxed as the minutes passed, the French ended up cracking in turn on an off-center shot from Quilindschy Hartman misread by Mike Maignan (1-2, 83e). A Batavian reaction, however, too late to claim to upset the Blues. Leaders of their qualifying group, Didier Deschamps’ players can no longer be reached. Their first runners-up are no longer Dutch but Greek, the latter having beaten Ireland in Dublin at the same time (0-2). The match between Greece and the Netherlands in three days in Athens will weigh heavily in the race for Germany.
