PSG’s new recruit, Gonçalo Ramos, who replaced Cristiano Ronaldo, scored twice during Portugal’s demonstration against Luxembourg (9-0).
He had not scored in the Portugal jersey since his hat-trick against Switzerland during the 2022 World Cup. Started this Monday evening against Luxembourg, as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, at the forefront of the attack of the Seleçao in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, suspended, Gonçalo Ramos wonderfully replaced the five-time Ballon d’Or.

A quadruple of assists for Bruno Fernandes
Man of the match, Bruno Fernandes delivered four assists during the match and scored a goal late in the match. Sporting’s defender, Gonçalo Inacio, scored a double, while Diego Jota, Ricardo Horta and Joao Felix also scored their small goal to close the largest victory in its history. A great collective performance from the Portuguese, who are more than ever leaders of their Euro 2024 qualifying group, with six victories in as many matches.
