The France Espoirs team, now led by Thierry Henry, made short work of Slovenia (0-4) this Monday, as part of the Euro 2025 qualifiers.
After making his successful debut at the head of the France Espoirs team against Denmark (4-1), in a friendly match, Thierry Henry won his first official match this Monday. Facing Slovenia, the Bleuets, led by their new captain Warren Zaire-Emery, won with style and a clean sheet to boot (0-4), as part of the first day of qualifying for the Euro 2025.
Man of the match, the neo-Parisian Bradley Barcola scored a double (45th + 1 and 57th) and made an assist for his former teammate in Lyon, Rayan Cherki (50th). Entering the game at the end of the game, Sékou Mara concluded his team’s festival (88th). The only downside of the evening: the exit of Arnaud Kalimuendo due to injury during the break, obviously due to a strain on his thigh.
🇸🇮🇫🇷 Bradley Barcola’s superb goal to open the scoring!
