After making his successful debut at the head of the France Espoirs team against Denmark (4-1), in a friendly match, Thierry Henry won his first official match this Monday. Facing Slovenia, the Bleuets, led by their new captain Warren Zaire-Emery, won with style and a clean sheet to boot (0-4), as part of the first day of qualifying for the Euro 2025.
Man of the match, the neo-Parisian Bradley Barcola scored a double (45th + 1 and 57th) and made an assist for his former teammate in Lyon, Rayan Cherki (50th). Entering the game at the end of the game, SĂ©kou Mara concluded his team’s festival (88th). The only downside of the evening: the exit of Arnaud Kalimuendo due to injury during the break, obviously due to a strain on his thigh.

Thierry Henry’s Bleuets will now meet again next October for two new matches for the Euro 2025 qualifiers, in Bosnia-Herzegovina and against Cyprus four days later.
