Terrible. During the night from Friday to Saturday, Morocco was hit by a huge earthquake (magnitude 7) in the Marrakech region. The toll is clear, with more than 600 dead and several hundred injured. Figures which are unfortunately expected to increase in the coming days. A true night of horror which provoked numerous reactions, starting with that of Real Madrid.
The club from the Spanish capital wanted to react to this night of horror by supporting Morocco in this unprecedented disaster. “Real Madrid CF, its president and its board of directors express their deepest dismay and solidarity with the victims of the earthquake that Morocco has suffered in recent hours. Our club would like to express its condolences and affection to the families of the deceased and to all the people of Morocco. Likewise, we wish a speedy recovery to the injured, to whom we transmit all our strength and affection.”
