During the night from Friday to Saturday, Morocco was the victim of a violent earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter scale in the Marrakech region and its surroundings. The toll is growing by the hour with already more than 650 dead and several hundred injured. Several clubs sent a message of support to the Moroccan people. After Real Madrid early in the morning, Barça also published a press release. “From FC Barcelona, we express all our solidarity and strength to the victims of the earthquake which hit Morocco.”we can read on their Twitter account.
In France, PSG and OM also published a message of support. “The entire Paris Saint-Germain family is alongside our Moroccan friends following the terrible earthquake. Our condolences to those who have lost loved ones. Our thoughts are with you”explains the capital club. “In this terrible ordeal, Olympique de Marseille sends a heartfelt thought and wishes to provide its full support to the Moroccan people and to all those affected by the tragedy that occurred last night”adds OM.
