Philippe Coutinho heads to Qatar

Has Philippe Coutinho finally found a way out? Since his arrival in the summer of 2022 in England, the Brazilian winger has never managed to win with Aston Villa. Pushed towards the exit and not in the plans of his coach, Unai Emery, the 31-year-old player hopes to be able to play again, once healed from his thigh injury.

A time announced at Besiktas then at Betis Seville, Mundo Deportivo reports this Thursday that the Brazilian international (68 caps, 21 goals) will no longer play across the Channel and will take over the management of the Qatari. Indeed, Aston Villa have found common ground with Al Duhail for the Rio de Janeiro native’s loan until the end of the season. The Qatari club will pay Philippe Coutinho’s entire salary.
