The draw for the group stage of the Europa League took place this Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Monaco. Toulouse FC is fixed.
The 53rd edition of the Europa League kicked off this Friday, September 1 in Monaco with the draw for the group stage. Sevilla FC will put their title back into play and there will be many contenders who want to lift the trophy on May 22 in Dublin. Toulouse is one of them.
Directly qualified for the group stage after their victory in the Coupe de France final against FC Nantes (5-1) on April 29, the French club returned to European level for the first time in 14 years. The formation of Carles Martinez Novell, placed in hat 4, will be in group E.
Toulouse has its chance
Téfécé inherited Liverpool (England), Linzer ASK (Austria) and R. Union Saint-Gilloise (Belgium). Toulouse will therefore have to face Liverpool, one of the favorites in the competition. On the other hand, the Violets will be able to compete with the Belgian club and the Austrian formation.
