Touched in the face since the match against Crystal Palace during summer preparation, Anthony Lopes missed the first three days of the championship with Olympique Lyonnais. His absence in the Rhone goals was felt. While his return to competition is announced after the international break in September, the Portuguese international (14 caps) could finally be fit to challenge Paris Saint-Germain next Sunday.

According to Progress, the 32-year-old doorman returned to the OL group and took part in the collective training session in Décines with protection yesterday. Good news therefore in perspective for his coach Laurent Blanc, already deprived of several executives like Dejan Lovren or Alexandre Lacazette to face the Ile-de-France. In addition, the return of Anthony Lopes is eagerly awaited by Lyon supporters in order to regain potential defensive stability.
