It’s the great return of the Champions League. A little over two and a half months after the last final won by Manchester City against Inter, the draw for the group stage takes place this Thursday at 6 p.m. in Monaco. As usual but for the last time before the reform of the C1, 32 teams spread out in 4 hats will be distributed in a table of 8 groups of 4. PSG and RC Lens, present for the first time since the 2002 season /2003, will know their adversaries.

Inevitably, there are big customers, even for the champion of France since Real Madrid, Inter and Manchester United are placed in hat 2, or even AC Milan, semi-finalists in title, in hat 3 As for the calendar, it is back to normal since there is no World Cup this season. The first group matches will take place on September 19 and 20. The last will be held on December 12 and 13 before the round of 16 which will take place in February and March 2024.
