Two days before the end of the summer transfer window, Marco Verratti seems close to leaving for Qatar.

Another monster from the Parisian locker room is about to leave PSG. After Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi and Neymar, it is indeed Marco Verratti who is about to leave. After eleven years at the club and despite a contract that runs until 2026, the Italian international is pushed out by his leaders.

Shortly before the resumption of the season, Luis Campos, the club’s sports adviser, and Lui Enrique, the coach, had warned him, along with Neymar, Renato Sanches, Hugo Ekitike or Juan Bernat, that PSG had no more about him. And after hoping to change the Spanish technician’s mind, the native of Pescara made up his mind and opened the door to a departure.

And according to RMC Sport, his exit door could be in Qatar. PSG and the Al-Arabi club would indeed be very close to an agreement, with a transfer fee estimated at 45 million euros, including bonuses. It remains to be seen whether the Italian midfielder is ready to go into exile in Qatar…
